Apple TV+ has just unveiled the trailer for Your Friends & Neighbours, a gripping new drama series led by Jon Hamm, set to premiere globally on 11 April. Created by Jonathan Tropper, the show promises a mix of intrigue, scandal and dark humour, and it's already been renewed for a second season.
The nine-episode first season kicks off with a double-episode premiere, with new episodes dropping weekly until 30 May. Hamm stars as Andrew "Coop" Cooper, a disgraced hedge fund manager struggling with the fallout from his divorce and career collapse. Living in the ultra-wealthy Westmont Village, Coop starts breaking into his neighbours' homes out of desperation and curiosity. But what he discovers behind closed doors is far more twisted and dangerous than he ever anticipated.
The series boasts a stellar cast, including Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt and Donovan Colan. Tropper, known for his work on Banshee and Warrior, serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Hamm also executive producing alongside Connie Tavel and Craig Gillespie. Gillespie directs the first two episodes, with later instalments helmed by Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes and Tropper himself.
With its sharp storytelling, complex characters and a heavy dose of suburban mystery, Your Friends & Neighbours is shaping up to be a must-watch. Fans of dark dramas packed with unexpected twists won't want to miss this one when it lands on Apple TV+ next month.
