Step into the whimsical world of Happy Town, a charming new animated series narrated by global icon Mel B in her first-ever children's television role. Premiering on Sky Kids and streaming service NOW on 17 February 2025, Happy Town is a celebration of kindness, friendship and adventure that is set to delight young audiences across the UK.

Mel B, widely known as Scary Spice from the iconic girl group Spice Girls, is no stranger to captivating audiences. As a singer, dancer and global entertainer, she became a household name in the 1990s as part of one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Beyond her music career, Mel B has showcased her vibrant personality as a TV host, talent show judge, and author, making her a beloved figure across generations. Now, with Happy Town, she brings her storytelling talents to a younger audience, adding her signature charm and energy to this heartwarming series.

Happy Town follows the delightful adventures of Pep, a lively hedgehog, and Tabitha, a clever ladybird, as they solve problems in their unique and vibrant community. Central to the story is the Happy Town sign, which shines bright when the townsfolk are happy. Whenever the light fades, Pep and Tabitha set off on a mission to spread joy, encouraging everyone to help one another and work together.

Happy Town was commissioned by Lucy Murphy, Director of Kids Content at Sky, for Cécile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios and Chief Content Officer for Sky. The show was created by James Fox and produced by Dominic Buttimore for Happy Town Productions, with animation provided by Flix Animation. Ian France serves as the Commissioning Editor for Sky, ensuring the series delivers the perfect mix of heart and entertainment for its young viewers.

With its vibrant characters, uplifting themes and Mel B's captivating storytelling, Happy Town is a must-watch for families. Prepare to be inspired by its message of positivity and teamwork when the series debuts on 17 February. It promises to light up screens and bring plenty of smiles to living rooms across the UK.
