Production is underway on the seventh and final series of Brassic, Sky's most successful comedy to date. Set to air later in 2025 on Sky and streaming service NOW, the series will mark the end of an era for the beloved show, promising to go out in true Brassic style, packed with the chaos and hilarity fans have come to adore.

Since its launch in 2019, Brassic has captured hearts with its tales of a mischievous gang navigating life in northern suburbia. Now, Vinnie (Joe Gilgun) and his eccentric group of friends will take audiences on one last wild ride, wrapping up their adventures with the signature blend of outrageous antics and heartfelt moments that have made the series a standout.

Co-creator and writer Danny Brocklehurst reflected on the journey, saying, "When Joe Gilgun and I sat down to create Brassic, we couldn't have dreamed we'd reach seven series and have such a loyal fanbase. It's been an absolute joy to bring this world to life, but we want to end on a high. Maybe they can finally give us that BAFTA!"

A Sky spokesperson praised the series for its extraordinary success, noting how audiences quickly embraced the show's unconventional charm. "Brassic became Sky's most watched comedy ever thanks to its unique mix of hilarity and heart. We're immensely grateful to Joe, Danny, the cast and crew for this iconic series."

Returning cast members include Ryan Sampson, Michelle Keegan, Aaron Heffernan, Parth Thakerar, Joanna Higson, and Steve Evets, all of whom are set to deliver another round of unforgettable performances alongside Joe Gilgun.

Since its BAFTA-nominated debut, Brassic has gone from strength to strength, earning critical acclaim and awards including Best Comedy Drama at the RTS Awards in 2023. The show has become a staple for comedy fans, with its most recent series achieving the highest viewership in three years.

As Brassic prepares to bow out, executive producer David Livingstone summed up the sentiment: "From Joe's incredible imagination to Danny's brilliant writing, it's been a blast. This final season is for the fans who've stuck with us on this wild journey."

Series 7 of Brassic will launch exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW later this year. Fans can expect the perfect send-off for this much-loved gang in a final chapter packed with the chaos, humour, and heart that have made the show a modern classic.
