Christmas came early for fans of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon! The hit spin-off from one of TV’s biggest franchises is back for a second season, and it’s bolder than ever. Now, Daryl (Norman Reedus) is teaming up again with his best friend and fan-favorite Carol (Melissa McBride), and we couldn’t be more excited.
Synopsis:
Season 2 picks up right where we left off. Daryl is still in post-apocalyptic France, dealing with brain-eating zombies while trying to protect Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) and 12-year-old Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), who have become like family to him. Meanwhile, Carol is back in the U.S., determined to find her long-lost friend. She is not messing around either, teaming up with a pilot to cross the Atlantic.
Both Daryl and Carol are facing threats from every direction, both living and undead. Daryl is up against Genet’s growing totalitarian movement in France while protecting Laurent, a boy a religious group believes is humanity’s savior. Carol has her own challenges as she fights to reunite with Daryl no matter the cost.
Season 1 gave us a fresh take on the franchise, with Daryl washed ashore in France where the zombie virus began. As he tried to find his way home, he got tangled up with a splintered movement in Paris and ended up as the reluctant protector of Laurent.
Get ready to dive into this exciting new chapter with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol. Fans and critics agree it is the best spin-off yet.
