Apple TV+ Unveils Premiere Date for René Redzepi's New Documentary Series "Omnivore"

Apple TV+ has officially announced the premiere date for its eagerly awaited documentary series "Omnivore," created and narrated by the celebrated chef René Redzepi. The series is set to debut globally on July 19, 2024, offering viewers a captivating exploration of food's role in human culture and history.

René Redzepi, known for his groundbreaking work as the chef and co-owner of the acclaimed restaurant Noma, takes audiences on a journey through the world of food in "Omnivore." The series delves into the profound beauty and intricate complexities of the human experience, viewed through the lens of essential ingredients that connect us all.

"Omnivore" is structured around eight pivotal ingredients: bananas, chillies, coffee, corn, pork, rice, salt, and tuna. Guided by Redzepi and Emmy Award-winning executive producer Matt Goulding, known for his work on "Anthony Bourdain: Explore Parts Unknown," "Omnivore" takes viewers on a global odyssey. The series spans diverse destinations, including Denmark, Serbia, Thailand, Spain, Japan, Djibouti, Peru, South Korea, France, Colombia, India, Bali, Rwanda, Mexico, and various locations throughout the United States.
