Mark your calendars for a special evening as Sir Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, will inspire young minds with an upcoming CBeebies Bedtime Story. Tune in on Wednesday, July 3rd at 6:50 pm to join Hamilton as he reads "Small's Big Dream" by Manjeet Mann, with illustrations by Amanda Quartey.
The story centers on Small, a young girl with dreams that seem too big for someone like her. Despite her attempts to suppress them, her dreams persist and lift her high above her limitations. This poignant tale strikes a chord with Hamilton, who sees reflections of his own childhood aspirations in Small's journey.
"I felt it was really inspiring; it reminded me of my childhood and the big dreams that I had as a kid," Hamilton shared. "I know that there are many kids out there that have big dreams too. Perhaps there will be people telling them that their dream's too big. But I feel like this story really emphasizes that no dream is too big or small and as long as you believe in yourself and continue to work hard, stay focused and give it absolutely everything, anything is possible."
CBeebies Bedtime Story, airing each weekday at 6:50 pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, has been a beloved family favorite since the channel's launch in 2002.
